Who this policy covers

This website presents the professional practice of Prof. Dr. Sammy Hanna, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon at Healthpoint Hospital, Abu Dhabi.

Clinical care, medical records and appointments are managed by Healthpoint Hospital under its own privacy and patient confidentiality policies. This policy covers only the information submitted through this website.

What is collected

The enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, email address, the general nature of your concern, and any message you choose to write.

The message field is free text. If you describe symptoms or a medical history, that information is health-related personal data and is treated with corresponding care.

Providing this information is voluntary. You can instead contact Healthpoint Hospital directly on 800 77.

Why it is collected

The information is used only to respond to your enquiry and, where appropriate, to help arrange an appointment. It is not used for marketing, not sold, and not shared with third parties for advertising.

Consent

The enquiry form includes a consent checkbox that must be ticked before the form can be submitted. Submitting the form indicates your consent to the handling described here.

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing contact@sammyhanna.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing that has already taken place.

How it is stored and how long it is kept

Enquiries are transmitted to the practice email address and are accessible only to the practice and its administrative staff. They are retained only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted.

Where an enquiry leads to an appointment, any resulting clinical record is held by Healthpoint Hospital under its own retention rules.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, you may request access to the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Requests can be sent to contact@sammyhanna.com.

Third-party services

This site embeds Google Maps to show the clinic location and uses Google services to display public review information. Those services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy terms.

Links to Healthpoint Hospital, Doctify, PubMed and social media platforms lead to sites operated by others. This policy does not apply to them.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending detailed medical histories, scan reports or identification documents through the enquiry form.
