Prof. Dr. Sammy Hanna is a UK-trained consultant orthopaedic hip and knee surgeon with more than 18 years of clinical and academic experience across the United Kingdom, Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Before joining Healthpoint Abu Dhabi, he held a busy clinical and academic practice in London. His work spans major trauma, complex joint reconstruction, robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement, sports-related knee injuries, research and surgical education.
His approach begins with understanding how the condition affects the person. Diagnosis, explanation and treatment planning are brought together around the movement, independence and quality of life each patient wants to regain.
